We understand that personalized care is essential to providing quality care. We feature a 34-bed Memory Care unit, secured for the safety and well-being of our residents.

We currently collaborate with our skilled therapy team, the Alzheimer’s Association, and healthcare professionals to offer up-to-date, creative, and interactive experiences for individuals with dementia and Alzheimer’s. We’re also developing Dementia Care stations and activities based on natural circadian rhythms that will reduce sundowning, ensuring a comfortable environment.
Wound Care Expertise
Avalon View Health and Wellness features a full-time Wound Care Certified Nurse and partners with a Wound Care doctor who visits weekly. Together, they provide dedicated, hands-on wound care, ensuring residents receive consistent and expert treatment tailored to their needs.
Life Enrichment
Avalon View Health and Wellness is well known for its strong community presence and welcoming, family like atmosphere. Residents enjoy activities seven days a week, including engaging group activities, individual and one on one activities, and memory care specific activities. The community offers live entertainment twice a month and a variety of social clubs such as a men’s group, women’s tea hour, baking club, and book club. Residents also have the opportunity to participate in multiple community events, all fostering connection, enrichment, and a truly resident focused lifestyle.
Recovery and Community
Avalon View Health and Wellness embraces a diverse and inclusive community, welcoming residents from all walks of life, including those in recovery from addiction. In partnership with Narcotics Anonymous, Avalon View hosts weekly NA meetings onsite every Saturday, providing a supportive and safe environment that encourages connection, healing, and ongoing personal growth.

Avalon View Health and Wellness offers a warm, welcoming environment supported by caring and attentive staff. The fully renovated facility features new floors and fresh paint in warm, neutral colors, creating a comfortable and inviting space for residents. Family members are encouraged to participate in regular activities and events, fostering connection and community. In partnership with the local library, all residents have access to audiobooks and music, providing additional opportunities for enrichment and engagement.
